RECAT GmbH, with its registered office in Sulzfeld, Germany, is strategically located in the South-Western part of Germany, has a sales network in German-speaking countries (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), France, and in North-West Africa. RECAT owns a technologically advanced recycling plant with a total capacity of up to 200 tons per month, equipped with lines for dismantling, separating, cutting and grinding waste, as well as a professional chemical laboratory. RECAT collects and processes about 350 tons of spent automotive and industrial catalysts per year, generating revenues of EUR 20 million.
RECAT also conducts research projects in the field of recycling and transport of waste batteries and accumulators, including lithium-ion batteries. The company’s management staff and contractors constantly cooperating with the company include people with academic titles and rare skills in the field of recycling, as well as a multilingual sales and marketing team.
The company also has an undoubted advantage over its competitors thanks to a possibility of testing the exact content of precious metals using modern methods (ICP) in its own laboratory. The sampling process is validated by a cooperating refinery, which in practice means that a sample taken at the plant can be treated as a representative and referential one for financial settlements.
